Just yesterday my dog Opie died of illness and old age. I was in mild shock when my dad told me and my sister to say "goodbye" to Opie. He was lying in the grass, barking continuosly with his eyes wide. And he couldn't get up. I tried not cry, trying not to worry over him...just because he was an animal. But thinking that only put me to shame, because he's family. That night, I cried.

Today, I tried not to talk to anyone in school, but my friends know me well enough to spot even the tiniest change in my general nature. Fourth period in my Drawing class, I started crying again and after class my teacher asked me what was wrong, as with all other people who asked, and the quote was always "My dog died yesterday."

I keep looking out into the backyard, kinda hard to believe that he's gone, but I know his time would come soon. I actually glad he's gone so he wouldn't feel any pain anymore. Our other dog, a daschund named Cocoa was howling at the twilight. Whether it was the siren of the police cars or Opie's absence is not known, but I it was the second.

My parents have had him not long before they had me, so it's pretty big loss. Mom always said that it was me who picked Opie, though I wasn't born yet. I'll be drawing a tribute for Opie and will be posting it by Friday, along with some art trades and gift art for other people if I can.

RIP Opie, hope you have nice afterlife. Grow your wings and chase 'em flying rabbits!

P.S.- I still wonder why he was named "Opie". He came with the name when my parents got him from the shelter...

Yeah, I ish back from Disney World and I had a whole lot of fun, though I kinda wished my sister was around to share the fun with. Maybe this summer we'll go again. The realistic poke'manz are still in development, sorry for the delay.

I am the wild-eyed, mystical, elusive artist known as the Empyrean Dragon Spirit a.k.a. Empy, Spirit, Kakashi Sensei, EDS, etc.! I'm currently living in the southeastern part of North America and is currently in high school.

Will you do me a request?
Please don't ask me this because I might refuse anyway and I dispise turning people down. I don't want my gallery to be filled with requested artwork or anything like that. And I'm far too tired and busy to do requests, especially for random people who just pop by looking for free art. My answer will be "no", unless the requests are offered, or if you're someone I really know, like a good friend. If you requested me to do a picture for you and you're one to not talk to me very often, then it's likely that might forget or drop the request.


Will you do an art trade with me?!
I love doing art trades with people with unique styles of art and such! It gives me an opportunity to expand my skills as an artist and help me improve my art as I go along. If interested, note me (please put a title saying so) or comment on the recent journal where I offer them for the month and I'll reply! Even when I'm full on trades (slots are usually five to ten spots open), I may be generous enough to do one with you anyway. But if I can't take anymore (up to fifteen art trades is the most I can hold), I can save you a spot when I open up art trades again!

Please do what you can to finish your half of the trade, send me a note with the link and I'll do the same, though it may take me quite a while! I try my best to make the artwork the best I can and I expect you to do the same. To make sure I don't forget, please note me whenever you have the time! What do you draw often?
Check my gallery, silly! I often draw mythological creatures, especially dragons! I also draw animals, anthros, fanart of my fav fandoms, and my own original characters. Sketches and concept art are also(or will be) common in my gallery.
Sorry if my art doesn't look at all impressive to some of you, but I'll get better!


Do you like giving/reciving Gift Art/ Fanart?
I like giving out gift art and fanart whenever I feel like it and they are usually given out to friends and good watchers on birthdays and such!
I like reciving gift art/fanart as well! It makes me extremely happy! But do so only by your free will!


What do you use to color your artwork?
I mainly use colored pencils, either Crayola or Prismacolor (it depends what kind of artwork I'm doing). Other traditional media that I use are oil pastels and markers.
I'm currently learning how to color digitally with Gimp, so if you have any tutorials that I can check out that may be useful for me, that would be great!

Can we be friends?
Please don't ask me this, for it's kinda tough for me to reply to this. We can't just simply be friends in just one second, for friendship and alliances happen on their own. I'd like to be friends with everyone I meet and treat them with as much love and care as possible, but it's getting tough to do that. If you comment often and such and I do the same for you, then there's a likely friendship. I'm trying the best I can to show some care for my own friends but I'm so busy at the moment.

I don't know a lot of people's email address, so I can't really fulfill my "wish". Instead, maybe posting it here might help. I got this from ~TakashiLuv :3.

I'm hoping to get some art trades in before the Spring Break, cuz I'll be off to DisneyWorld for two days!:3 So to occupy myself during the road trip, I was thinking of drawing realistic pokemanz. I got this idea from =kankakanka: suggest a pokeman that you would want to see me draw as a real creature!
Pick any pokemon you'd like and we'll see if I decide to draw it. I know a lot would pick Pikachu, Eeevee, Mew and whatnot, but get this: the less often a particular pokemon is voted, the more likely I will draw it and depending if I like it.
Deadline is April 11th, so pick now or forever hold your pokeballs!XD


Moving on, I was thinking of holding up a contest when I get my 20,000th pageview or something. And I was wondering if any of you good people have any suggestions for me. I'm all ears, guys, so throw 'em at me, I won't mind how crazy it is! Suggestions for prizes would be nice too!

Hello peoples! I promised myself I would put up a journal here to open up for new art trades, but that doesn't mean I will abandoned my other art trades! I was going to finish them this week but I got busy with school and all. >.< Plus, the memory card to my sister's camera is missing, so that's one way that I can't post up artwork at the moment. I'd use my friend's camera, but she's using it over the weekend so I'll have to wait until Monday...

Yesterday, I logged in to find myself given a one-year subscription to dA!!! I'm so happy, and this time I recieved an e-mail about how gave to me. 7. I love a good role-play with good role-players (I still need to work on my quick-typing skills)! What I look for in a rp is fair playing, good plot, decent-sized posts, and most importantly, characterization! I find your character to be too much of a Mary Sue, I may not want to rp with you until then.

8. I am currently working on a project that involves spirits, warriors, hunters, shamans and all that good stuff! I might turn it into an rp room.
